Terrestrial
Of or relating to or inhabiting the land, as opposed to the sea or air.
Territorial Limit
The limit of coastal waters over which a nation exercises sovereign jurisdiction, which extends 12 nautical miles (22km) from the mean low water mark adjacent to land, or from internal waters (as defined in the 1994 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea).
Tertiary
Geological period, covering 65-2 Million years ago, representing the first (major) part of the Cenozoic era.
Trailer Suction Hopper Dredging
This is the common method of marine aggregate dredging, where the ship moves forward at a speed of around 2-3 knots, trailing a pipe along the surface of the seabed that sucks up the material.

Turbidity
A unit of measurement which indicates the amount of solids in the water by quantifying the degree to which light travelling through a water column is scattered by the suspended particles.
