This section lists the potential of marine aggregate extraction with other activities to cause cumulative and in-combination effects to arise in the marine environment. Any offshore activity must not only assess the potential impacts of their actions, but the effects in combination with the sum of impacts from all other industrial activities in the proposed area, and from other similar sites in close proximity. The best-practice measures used to mitigate these in-combination effects will be discussed.
